Evaluates psychopathology and emotional/behavioral problems
David Lachar, PhD, and Christian P. Gruber, PhD
Assess the Psychopathology and Emotional/Behavioral Problems of Your Clients from 5 to 19 Years
The PIC-2 assesses the full range of emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and interpersonal issues through two assessment formats—a full profile with true-or-false items and a shortened Behavioral Summary.
- The standard, 275-item profile offers Response Validity scales and Adjustment scales and subscales that supply useful clinical details, as well as an optional critical items list divided into nine content categories.
- The Behavioral Summary is composed of only the first 96 items and can be used for screening, research, evaluating treatment plans, or monitoring behavior change.
- The PIC-2 was standardized on ratings from 2,306 parents of students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Data also were collected from 1,551 parents whose children had been referred for educational or clinical intervention.
Scoring and interpretation software available
This software enables you to score 25 administrations of the PIC-2 Standard Form or Behavioral Summary; it provides a complete interpretive report with a detailed profile and a full explanation of scale and subscale scores, including implications for treatment.
