The Achenbach System of Empirically Based Assessment (ASEBA) is a tool that can be used to assess behavioral and emotional problems in children. The ASEBA-PC is a computer-based version of the ASEBA that includes the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) for children ages 1.5–5. It collects ratings from parents, daycare providers, and teachers on 99 problem items.
The CBCL Preschool Scoring Forms are available in Latino Spanish. In addition, the CBCL Preschool Scoring Module with Multicultural Options allows you to score problem scales with norms for various societies that have relatively low problem scores, intermediate scores, or high scores. These products use multicultural norms based on groups of countries.
ASEBA software makes it easy to manage data obtained with ASEBA forms by creating easy-to-read profiles of normed scale scores and exportable narrative reports. Each module displays cross-informant comparisons of data from up to 10 forms, including item ratings, correlations between informants, and bar graphs of scale scores. Multicultural options are available.
