RAIT™ and TOGRA™

Assess intelligence and reasoning ability in group or individual settings

Reynolds Adaptable Intelligence Test™ and Test of General Reasoning Ability™

The RAIT and the TOGRA are a suite of products from Dr. Cecil R. Reynolds, that can be used in a full-scale intelligence assessment for clients age 10 to 75 years. Both can be administered by psychologists, qualified proctors teachers, or administrators in group or individual settings. Choose convenient admiration and instant scoring via PARiConnect or paper and pencil.  The TOGRA is a speeded test of intelligence and reasoning and the RAIT, while timed, is a more intensive measure of components of intelligence.

The RAIT is a comprehensive, yet flexible, measure of crystallized (i.e., verbal) and fluid (i.e., nonverbal) intelligence as well as quantitative and general intelligence, providing the same level of useful information gleaned from intelligence tests two to three times the length of the RAIT. The RAIT is a "power" test.  It is timed—but not a speeded—and is available in a full or abbreviated battery. The full battery requires a total testing time of 50 minutes, but examiners can choose to administer fewer than seven subtests.  No manipulatives are required.  Administer to individuals or groups either online via PARiConnect or with the paper booklet/answer sheet.

The RAIT-NV is ideal for online or paper administration with individuals with limited English proficiency or no language skills.  In less than 20 minutes, administer just the two subtests comprised by the Fluid Intelligence Index (FII).

The TOGRA is a measure of reasoning ability and problem-solving skill designed for individual or group administration either online or on paper.  Two equivalent forms allow retesting and progress monitoring capabilities.  Because it is a speeded measure of reasoning, it may also be useful to compare TOGRA performance with performance on power tests such as the RAIT or the Reynolds Intellectual Assessment Scales (RIAS) to determine whether testing accommodations are needed on other timed standardized tests.
