Vice President of Community Relations Emeritus

Cathy Smith is the Vice President of Community Relations Emeritus at PAR, Inc. Cathy received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Pennsylvania State University in 1971 and worked as a psychiatric nurse for 10 years before she began full-time employment at PAR. 

Cathy is an active community volunteer and has served on various boards in the Tampa Bay area, including the United Way of Tampa Bay and the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. She served as president of the Meals On Wheels board, is a founding member of the Hospice Women of Philanthropy, and served as president of the board of Tampa Preparatory School, where she currently holds the position of trustee emeritus. Cathy was named one of the Eckerd 100 Women for Outstanding Volunteer Effort in 1998.
